My name is Jesse Rojo and I am running for trustee in the village of Barrington. I am running because of the lessons my father taught me. He taught me that to love your country means to serve it, to work to make it better. It was this lesson that guided me when I joined the US Army reserves and it was a lesson that guided me in the last 10 years when I’ve worked in nonprofits to support working families in creating needed policy change.
This lesson will guide me now in this campaign as I work to create a Brighter Barrington by
– Create a more vibrant downtown by partnering with local non-profits and increasing the number of community events.
– Reduce local tax reliance by securing strategic grants and funding.
– Support small businesses by getting families out and walking downtown through more community events and engagement
This is my vision for a Brighter Barrington and I hope you join me in this effort by voting on or before April 1st.
